Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are the best, just remember to take the cookies out right when they start to get darker. They will cook a little more outside of the oven. Also (if you want soft cookies) do not remove cookies from the cookie sheet until they are totally cool, otherwise they be hard later.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup white sugar

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 1/2 cups self-rising

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    2. In medium bowl, combine flour, salt. Stir with fork so all ingredients are mixed.
    3. In large bowl, combine sugars, and butter. Mix until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth and fluffy.
    4. Add 1 cup of dry ingredients at a time to mixture until all is incorporated. Drop cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

    Smocked Waist Top-WetSeal

    http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?categoryId=101&productId=40135&color=BLUE

I recently bought this shirt from Wetseal and I love it. I wear it so much I was going to get a second one but they ran out of my size. If their are any left next Thursday I will get another one just in large, it will probably fit. That is how much I love this shirt. I can wear it anytime with anything. When it is cold I can add a long sleeve shirt underneath it or a little sweater on top of it. When it is warm I would wear it just the way it is with a cute pair of shorts and some sandles or flops. I love it, what about you? Leave a comment and become a follower...Thanks!:)

    Cookie Press & Recipe

This is the comfort grip Cookie Press. It has 12 disk shapes for different cookie shapes, it also has a fluted bottom which raises the Cookie Press off the cookie sheet for better formed cookies. You can find these little guys all over the place, anywhere you can buy baking supplies. I bought mine at Wal-mart for only $5.00, it was half off.

    Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) Butter
    1 cup Sugar
    1 Egg
    2 tablespoons Milk
    1 teaspoon Vanilla
    3 1/2 cups self-rising Flour

    Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F. Thoroughly cream the butter and the sugar. Add the Egg, Milk, Vanilla, beat well. Add the Flour to the cream mixture until it is a smooth dough. DO NOT CHILL. Put the dough into your cookie press and press cookies onto the ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Remove cookies from sheet: cool on a rack.

Maybe through out time FairyTale women where the trouble but here in the real world it's the men that are "Evil." Men have been treating women like dirt, (something to plant their seed in) since the beginning of time. And poor you gets his ...heart broken and we are suddenly we are "the root of all evil."?? Men should worship women, treat them like goddesses because that is what we are. We hold everything that is wonderful in the world, everything that is precious. You treat a woman good, worship them, they will worship you!

    Stephen King's The Shining

I remember watching this in parts on TV when it first came out. It is so long they had to break it up into like 4 parts and we had to wait all week to see the next part. The original version was okay, Jack is great at playing crazy, not to say that Steven Weber doesn't convince me that he wants to kill his wife and child. He's pretty good at looking nuts. I really enjoy this version much more than the original. I just bought The Shinning from amazon.com for like $3.00 so I will see that in the mail soon. As you will find out by reading my blogs I am a huge fan of amazon.com, I buy there all the time. What did you think of this version of Steven Kings The Shinning? New Phone Cover

Isn't it just beautiful? I found this very pretty cover for my Samsung Intensity 2, which I have in a very nice blue but it's just not me....I love pink, I'm a girly girl. So this is so perfect and so me!  I pretty much love this phone. It's my favorite phone so far.:) I better love it, I am stuck with it for two years.:0 I signed a contract...but it will be okay! :)
My Intensity 2 is great for texting, there is a great keyboard that pulls out, and it is a full keyboard. It's plays music that I download from my mp3 player playlist on my computer. And it has an ass load of pictures that were also on my computer. Of coarse the thing takes photos which are pretty good shots, just kinda small. I love it, what do you think about my phone and my new cover for it? Just leave a comment below and make sure you follow me for more on everything.

    Happy Christmas!

Happy Christmas everyone! Here is our Christmas tree and some of the presents we wrapped. My hubby and I decorated most of the tree but his mother made the beautiful bow to place on top of the tree instead of a star. I even strung up popcorn to add some older flare to the tree. It was something we use to do as children when we didn't have as much money and could not buy expensive decorations and popcorn is something my mom always enjoyed so we had it often. I love to see the tree filled with Christmas gifts, my tree growing up was nothing like this one. Some years we wouldn't have anything at all...not even a Christmas dinner. I remember one Christmas, I was 10 or 11 years old and there was no money for presents. On Christmas Eve Mom tells me and my older siblings "there's no money for presents for all of you but we might be able to get Crissa (my younger sister) something. We will say that you three were bad so Santa didn't leave you anything." We were sad but she was younger, still believed in Santa, none of us wanted her to be disappointed come Christmas morning. Mom bundled us all up and crammed us into the car heading for Mini Mart, a local convenient store. We found a plastic doll for a few dollars and got that. It was a sour Christmas for the older kids but the smile on my little sisters face when she woke up and a present was waiting for her made it all worth it.

    Jeans at alloy.com

You will no doubt find out that most of my posts will be about clothes because I love them so and love to shop and I often shop at alloy.com. Well I use to anyway. Now a days I tend to stay away from there expensive crap. I find that there sizes are all wrong. You will ask for a size 13, your jeans show up saying they are a size 13 on the tag but you try them on and you've got a size 17. Or maybe you order a size 15, when the jeans get there they say 15 on the tag but you can barely squeeze into them. What is going on with Alloy? My bet is they just don't care. When you return the jeans you will have to pay more shipping. Twice you will have to pay shipping to get the size you need, first when you bought them and once more to have the new jeans shipped back to you. Now that I finally have the right size I realize that the jeans are way too high up, Do you want me to wear these damb things past my belly button? No, I like mine low. And what does the description say...low-rise.
     "Revolt Studded Stretch Flare Jean
STRETCH five-pocket low-rise flare with front destruction, studded back flap pockets and studs along front pockets."
I now have to fold down the jeans to kind of give me a belt that bulges out. So now I never wear them after paying $40.00 plus shipping twice for another $15.00. The funny thing about all this is I have done it more than once. I believe this is the fourth or fifth pair of jeans I have bought from alloy.com and now they are just hanging in my closet never being worn. So I vow, right here right now, that I will never buy jeans from alloy.com ever again! Who is going to make this vow with me? Leave me some comments about your experience with alloy and anything else you might want to add or say. Thanks!

    FWD: FWD:

My hubby and I just put up some glowing stars in the corner of the room where our lamp is. Now while I lay in bed at night I can see the stars. Its much cheaper than a skylight like I would love to have. To be able to lie in bed and look into the skys would be so wonderful. I am reminded of when I was real little maybe 8. We had to move again. The middle of the night I am in the back seat and my window is cracked open enough to feel the cold wind on my face. The sounds of the road going by and the wind blowing have become comforting to me because we moved around so often. Even now I love the cold air on my face and the sounds of the road flying by. It soothes me.

    My First Ever Post

Hello everyone! This is my first post ever, anywhere. I guess I will start telling you a little about me. I am 27 years old. I have two sisters and a brother. I was born in Fayette Alabama. I wasn't there long before my mother packed our whole life into a car and drove us across the country to Colorado, where we stayed for a fews years before moving onto Casper Wyoming. You will most likely hear about Casper allot in my blogs because I loved it there so much. My childhood was spent there, my friends and life were there. But everything is in a non-stop cycle of change and we moved across the country again, where my mother, her new husband, and my little sister moved to North Carolina and my older sister and brother along with I moved back to Alabama to stay with my father. Things did not work out there after half a year or so my sister and I moved in with my mother in North Carolina. I met my hubby at Vance Granville Community College while I was studying Criminal Justice. It was something sweet when we met, loved him from the moment I knew him really well, he is such a great man. I ended up dropping out of college for several reasons one being I didn't really want to go into that feild, two I was getting married, and three I have serious people issues, social dissorders. My hubby and I ended up moving to Colorado for a year but came back to North Carolina. That is pretty much my life summed up.Ha! Ha! I am a lover of all shopping and a lover of all animals except humans, I kind of have an issue with us. I'm a huge fan of sc/fi, aliens you know, and I love to cook. I enjoy playing a veriaty of video games from Final Fantasy 7,8,9,X,X-2, Tomb Raider all, Resident Evil all, Primal, Sims2, Sims3, you get the point. Well that's me, kinda, you'll learn more if you come back.
